Square image is 6" square. Daiwabo has been known for many years as an exceptional textile mill producing well-made and sought-after Japanese Taupe yarn dyes and printed fabric. Sometime in 2018, Daiwabo sold off it's quilting textiles division and for months, the fate of the continuation of these fabrics was in question. We are pleased to say they are still being produced under the name Handwork. Their yarn dyed still possess the red selvedge threads and many of original designers of Daiwabo are still at work bringing new fabrics to us. The Calm Collection from original Daiwabo designer Junko Matsuda is breathtakingly beautiful. Made with a blend of cotton (85%) and linen (15%) they have a rich depth of color and are just slightly heavier than customary sheeting. This taupe collection of medium and small florals include a pen and ink like outline print and each coordinates wonderfully with other taupe fabrics.
