20181: Working Small - 12 Yoko Saito Pincushions

An almost universal characteristic of Japanese quilting, especially designs from Yoko Saito, is work using small piecing, applique, and quilting techniques. Create a series of 12 demure pincushions designed by Ms Saito in Japanese Taupes. This class will sharpen your skills using hand sewing or machine stitching with small elements and give you confidence to take on a larger project from the array of Ms Saito's books, kits, or patterns or that of any other published Japanese quilter.

Each of the 6-hour classes, one each month for 4 months, will focus on 3 different pincushions that have the same body shape: Biscuit, Puck, Cube, and Brick, yet use different techniques in construction.

Register now, seating is limited to 10 students.
